I'm back!

I am now comfortably in A school, located in Maryland. It's getting colder and the trees are slowly turning beautiful colors. Classes don't officially start till the 24th so I have some downtime to learn how to clean the barracks and get to know my shipmates. The PX is amazing but the Commissary is cheaper on groceries. Boot camp was funner than I thought it would be. We were very fortunate to have RDCs who invested in teaching us real Honor, Courage, and Commitment, while others got to do Intensive Training Exercises (by the way, you don't want those). It was amazing to see my family after so long. We had a great time just hanging out at the mall and looking at cell phones! Haven't decided which one yet. I'm leaning to the Iphone side so far. Other than that, there's not much to tell yet. So till the next interesting event happens, See Ya!

I'm not that Tech Savvy

I have not mastered how to put photos on here yet because somehow Macs have to make things a wee more complicated than they should. That is the reason (or excuse) to have that dinky ferris wheel picture. And it was just so easy to put on! I will try find a way though! Oh, only 21 days left! Pray for me please, I'm a little scared.

In The Naavy!

Nikki has a much more detailed post about this so I'll just give the basics. Just last Wednesday we enlisted in the U.S. Navy. We are both in Mass Communications. Our ship date is the 15th of August this year. Fortunately, the basic training is just 4 hours away from my sister Tara. After that, it's Maryland for the career training. There's not much left we can do except spend as much time with family and friends as possible.

The Heat!!

No, I'm not talking about basketball. Disappointed huh. Well, we are in for one hot week! My sister and I are spending alot of time with Nana and Bampa these past three days. It's been so good to catch up on what they have been doing recently. I find it so cool that Bampa was in the Canadian Air Force! Have fun in the sun!

Here is my very first post. I am very excited to start. Since I am planning on joining the military, there's a good chance that I will travel the world. That is why I decided to name my blog "On The Move". This will also be a creative way to keep in touch with my family and let them know what I'm up to.
